Charas seized from train passenger

vadodara: anti terrorism squad (ats) of ahmedabad raided coach s1 of saurashtra express at vadodara station on thursday and seized charas worth rs 10 lakh. nasirhussain gadhiyal (33) has been identified as the drug carrier and arrested under various sections of narcotics and psychotropic substances act (ndps). nasir had packed the charas in ten packets weighing 1 kg each and kept it in his suitcase.dysp jam shah had got a tip-off that a young man from mumbai travelling in s1 coach of saurashtra express would reach vadodara on thursday and make delivery of charas. ats acted on the information and took nasir to ahmedabad and remanded him to police custody for seven days. nasir stays in the opera house area in mumbai.
